Globe Theatre Partnership
The Mondavi Center’s partnership with Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre will help local teachers find new ways to share Shakespeare with their students. Through a series of faculty and scholar exchanges, high school students in the Sacramento region will gain an increased understanding of Shakespeare text and its applications to contemporary languages. Selected teachers will visit the Globe Theatre in London for workshops, advanced training, and performances, which will result in performances of Shakespeare’s plays involving participating teachers and their classes at home.
